A Day of Learning and Innovation
Our GEN AI seminar welcomed around 85–90 enthusiastic AI & Data Science students. They were eager to explore the transformative world of Generative AI. The energy in the auditorium was palpable, reflecting the students’ keen interest in the latest advancements shaping the future of technology.
The session was led by our distinguished leadership team from HERE AND NOW AI:
🎤 Mme Deepti Balagopal, Chief Operating Officer, opened the event with an engaging introduction to HERE AND NOW AI. She shared insights into our journey as a premier Artificial Intelligence and Research Institute and highlighted our vision of bridging the crucial gap between academic learning and real-world AI innovations. Her address set the perfect tone, emphasizing how students can become part of the rapidly growing AI revolution.
💡 Mr. Ruthran Rahavan, CEO & AI Scientist, captivated the audience with a dynamic presentation showcasing some of the innovative AI applications developed by our team at HERE AND NOW AI. He illustrated how AI solutions are transforming industries like healthcare, education, and business operations. Real-life examples resonated deeply with students, sparking discussions about the immense possibilities offered by AI technologies.
🤖 Mr. Balaji Kannan, Chief Technology Officer, conducted an engaging, hands-on session on building a chatbot, turning abstract concepts into practical understanding. His technical demonstration demystified the inner workings of conversational AI, encouraging students to explore how chatbots can be developed and deployed across diverse domains. The interactive nature of this session prompted numerous questions and enthusiastic participation from the attendees.
A Milestone in Collaboration
One of the significant milestones of our visit was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between HERE AND NOW AI and Jeppiaar Institute of Technology. The MOU, signed in the presence of the college Principal and esteemed faculty members, marks the beginning of a strategic partnership focused on:
- Knowledge sharing and collaborative projects
- Joint research initiatives in AI and Data Science
- Enabling students to gain practical exposure and hands-on experience
This partnership underscores our shared vision of nurturing future AI leaders and fostering innovation through academia-industry synergy.
Following the seminar and the MOU signing, our team was given a tour of the state of the art labs at Jeppiaar Institute of Technology. We were thoroughly impressed by the advanced facilities and the dedication of faculty members in equipping students with cutting-edge technical skills. It reaffirmed our belief that collaborations like these are pivotal in shaping the future of AI talent in India.
